Your secure password is NOT maintained by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. You can use your username to reset your password by using the Forgot Password function. You will be prompted to key in your username, first and last name as well as your date of birth and social security number.
If you cannot remember your username, you can use the Forgot Username function to retrieve it. You will be prompted to key in your name, date of birth, mother's maiden name and social security number. If there is a positive match, an email containing your username will be sent to the address on record for your Nurse Portal profile. If there is not a positive match, contact Support using the widget for additional assistance.

Forgot Password:
1) Go to Nurse Portal login site, https://portal.ncbon.com/
2) If you’ve forgotten your password, click on the Forgot Password? button:
3) Enter all information in the Personal Information form and click Next:
4) Enter new password, verify new password and click Next:
5) A Confirmation page is displayed:
6) Select Print or Exit. When Exit is selected, you will be returned to the Nurse Portal login page.
